Yoko:
> So, I feel very satisfaction with the album about all great tunes and play,
> but I feel worry about how fans feel with the album sound balance and sound style,
> I think vocal level is too low, it's looks many fans feel very disappointment with it.
> I guess Yngwie think to make this album sound be "the great real live play album"
> but very young ages, they are always very familiar with complete digital high quality sound (less noise)
> then I am very afraid that they think this sound quality is not good, they can't understands how Yngwie thinking.
> How do you think about it ?

Mike spitzer (Mike):
In recent years many have felt that Yngwie was getting too soft and mild with
his albums. In the case of Facing The Animal, the album was criticized for
being overly processed and polished in the studio.
Too smooth sounding.

With WAR TO END ALL WARS, Yngwie wanted to respond to those comemnts by
making an album which was aggressive sounding with a much more raw and
energetic level.... almost like seeing a LIVE show in person.
He mixed the album the way he personally likes to hear the music with the
guitars very dominant and the keyboards and vocals a bit subdued.
The response elsewhere in the world has actually been much better with this
album.
They tend to prefer hearing the more dominant guitar and less of the vocals.

Personally, I have always liked the way MAGNUM OPUS and INSPIRATION were
mixed and processed best. I like the way the production sounds on those
albums.
