とにかく、ジャケットが大好きです。ビブラートをふるわせて、陶酔する彼の眼は完全にイッてます。神モード入ってるともいえます。このアルバムは、何しろメンバーを一新し、オールスウェーディッシュで固めてます。実は私は一度組んでもらいたかったヨランエドマン（元マディソン）が加入して、大喜びしたのを覚えてます。彼のハイトーン全開で、しかもスピートチューンよりミディアムテンポのストロングバラードとでも呼ぶべきDevil In DisguiseとかJudasに代表されるナンバーが印象的で大好きです。
スピードチューンももちろん最高ですね。でも、ミディアムテンポという印象がこのアルバム全体の雰囲気を支配しています。
いままでの、Yngwieフォロワーが最も取り入れた北欧メロディアス路線から一歩進化した、ある意味でアメリカナイズされた部分が洗練と言う言葉にで飾れば適切かなっという印象です。私は、この路線好きです。根っからの田舎もん（ごめんねー）北欧メタルバンドには、一生かかっても出来ない味とバランスと美しさがあります。実は、このアルバムはおそらく３００回位はゆうに聞いたと思います。曲順も最高に良いバランスで、ちょっと売れ筋ねらいをしたけど中途半端かな〜と思える１曲目以外は、全曲超お勧め、それとライブで最も映えるのが２曲目のBedroom Eyes（愛猫FuzzyCat(2000年他界）の事を歌ってるとご本人談)である。この曲のビデオクリップは日本の武道館コンサート前に並んでたファンを急遽集めて撮影されたので、凄く雰囲気が盛り上がっててTrilogyとかHeaven Tonightのシリーズの続きの路線とも、いえるかな。とにかく、クレイジーな日本のファンがいっぱい写ってます。

The double-pack album was released in Japan only. Lineup same as the original

"Eclipse" release.

CD #1 contains the original "Eclipse" album plus a bonus track, "Making Love"

with extended guitar solo.

CD #2 contains the following previously recorded tracks:

"Eclipse," "Overture 1383," "Krakatau," "Crying," and

"Far Beyond the Sun" (live from the Budokan'94 concert).
