Yngwie will join the charity CD project name "Bridge of Faith" ?

Hard rock musicians from the New Jersey and New York area, recently joined forces to record a song called "Bridge Of Faith" for a charity CD in aid of 9/11th called "United -We All Come Together" which has been put together in England by journalist Nicky Baldrian.

"Bridge Of Faith" was written by Jim Santos guitarist for New Jersey melodic rock band Norway.

Joining Jim are fellow Norway members Glenn Pierson, Marty Brasington, and Joe Slattery, Tradia vocalist Dave Baldwin, solo artists Phil Vincent, Laura Diamond, John Taglieri, Johnny Lima, Atello's Larry Atello and Paul D'ani, October Baby's Lisa Bouchelle, Silent Witness' Anthony Fontayne and Glenn Taylor from The Kootz.

Yngwie to Take Part in Charity Event イングヴェイがチャリティーイベントに出演します

Legendary rocker and former Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page will serve as a host of the second annual Action For Brazil's Children fundraising dinner. Auction and dinner to be held in Fort Lauderdale. The fundraising event will feature an "All Star" lineup of electrifying entertainment and wonderful auction items. Featured entertainment includes a special appearance by recording artist Richard Marx, Grammy-winning songwriter Richie Supa, and world-renowned guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, plus performances by other surprise artists. Note: Jimmy Page will not be performing.
All proceeds from tickets sales and silent auction will go towards supporting the work of Action For Brazil's Children, which became a Florida non-profit organization in 2001. The Organization's main purpose is the relief of the suffering among - and maintenance and education of - deprived, poor, homeless children and young people and their families in Brazil.

Guitar Legend Yngwie Malmsteen Heads into the Studio to Begin Recording ATTACK
International guitar legend Yngwie Malmsteen is back in the studio and has begun recording his new album, ATTACK.
ATTACK is being produced by Yngwie himself, and recorded and mixed by the famous veteran Engineer/Producer, Tom Fletcher.
ATTACK is being recorded in Miami and will be ready for a late summer release.
ATTACK is the follow up to Yngwie's successful masterpiece Concerto Suite Live, with the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, which entered the Japanese International Billboard Charts at #4 in its first few weeks of release in January 2002 amongst Mariah Carey and the Backstreet Boys!

Yngwie was recently spotted in Miami where he attended the 2002 Recording Academy Florida Heroes Awards (as an member of NARAS, not an award recipient). Yngwie Ready to Release His Own Early Recordings CD

Yngwie will be releasing a new CD with old materials that have been re-mastered by Yngwie himself.
There is a bonus song included as well as an interview with Yngwie about how the songs really came together. The CD title is The Genesis! Yngwie's management would like all the fans to know that Yngwie has never given anyone permission to release any of Yngwie's early music - those who have done so are only attempting to make money at Yngwie's expense without his knowledge or agreement. But now you can buy the original songs mastered and produced by their original creator. The Genesis! can be purchased only from Yngwie's official merchandise site YJM MERCHANDISING INC. Watch for the CD to be available within the next two weeks .

The radio program is "Ankarlo Mornings," hosted by top-ranked talk show host Darrell Ankarlo. New Management Takes Over (Fan club release 14 February 2002)

Yngwie has a new manager, Rachael Black, who is located in Miami. She and her staff will be working with the Fan Club to continue bringing you timely updates and late-breaking news about our favorite guitarist. Interim manager Michael Spitzer has moved on to other projects, and we want to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to Mike for stepping into the void created by the departure of Lewis Entertainment - everyone here at Yngwie's Fan Club especially appreciate all the time and energy he put into keeping us informed and "in the loop." Enjoy your vacation, Mike - you've earned it!

イングヴェイがジムルイスの元を離れた混乱の時期を支え、マネージャ関連の仕事を一手に引き受けていたマイク・スピッツアー氏は、この度正式にその大任を終え新たなマネージメントチームに仕事をバトンタッチしました。スピッツァー氏はしばらくの休養ののち、今後は別の立場で彼の任務を果たすべく表舞台からは名前を消すことになります。ただし、完全にイングヴェイとの関係を断ち切るわけではなく、今後も引き続き陰からの助言者としてイングヴェイの補佐をしてゆくとのことです。アメリカでのレーベル獲得にはじまり、未発表作品のＵＳでの発売、コンチェルトCD/DVD/VHSにおける名演出の重要人物でもあり、これまでの彼の功績には大いなる拍手と感謝を送りたいと思います、みなさんも是非彼の事は忘れないでください、お願いします。

さて、今回正式にイングヴェイのマネージャに就任したのはRachael Black氏、そして金銭関係はTony Solmaz氏が担当します。またツアー関係のブッキング部門には Denise Love氏（前回のヨーロッパ＆アジア日本公演でのツアーマネージャさん）の名前が発表されています。これら新しいスタッフはイングヴェイの今後の仕事を強力に押し進めてゆくとともに、引き続きファンクラブとファンへのいままで通りの情報提供と強い絆を保ってコンタクトを維持することを約束してくれているとの事ですので、御安心ください。

さて、当メガファンサイトにもマネージャ交代の連絡はすこし前に来ていましたが、イングヴェイの意向で、ファンのみなさんが心配すると困るので、すべてを速やかに進めるから、全部が正式に決定した段階で発表してほしいという指示があり、いままで伏せておりました。本日ファンクラブのサイトで正式アナウンスがございましたので、解禁日とみなし、日本のみなさんにも御通知もうしあげている次第です。マネージャ氏交代は、純粋にイングヴェイの活動の幅および世界各国のひっきりなしの要求によりスムーズかつ詳細に答えるため、人員の増強と分業作業により、さらなる体制の強化を進めるための改革です。今後のイングヴェイチームの発展と活躍を日本からも見守りましょう。(yoko)
